As we move into Autumn, lots of exciting new interior and home collections are being launched for AW24. As there has already been a few new releases that have caught my eye, I thought I would share a few of my favourite finds:

Small Prints III: The new printed linen collection from Linwood

I love Linwood’s collections of Small Prints. I used a design from Small Prints II to make my bathroom window curtains and now I’m equally drawn to their ‘Scrunched’ pattern to use somewhere else in my home. With designs featuring cascading ribbons to shadow-drop geometric shapes, the new Small Prints III collection would make great cushions, curtains, or upholstery fabrics.

Kirkby Design x Teklan: Recycled Outdoor Weaves

Another new fabric collection that has grabbed my attention is the collaboration between Teklan, the Swedish colourist and designer, and modern British textile brand Kirkby (part of the Romo Group). The four outdoor-use recycled weave designs of PICNIC, SUNNY, BASKET and UNWIND are crafted from 100% recycled polypropylene and include the signature shades that Teklan is known for (expect lilac, yellow and deep reds). All fabrics within the collection complement each other, while the accompanying imagery to promote the range is a visual colour-block delight.

Broste Copenhagen AW24

I’ve always been a fan of Broste Copenhagen. As a leading provider of Nordic-inspired home decor, Broste’s wide range of homeware, kitchenware and interior accessories are always well-designed. The new collection for AW24 has two particular highlights: The Sonja Pedestals and the Florentina vases.

The Sonja Pedestals are sculptural ceramics designed to elevate candles or small vases, adding height to an interior arrangement; while the Florentina vases feature a wavy lip and are hand-finished with a matt, off-white glaze. They are available from October in five different sizes.

Sophie Conran x John Lewis Stripy Sofa

Sophie Conran does a lovely range of sofas and she’s collaborated on a version for the high street with this stripy number available in five colourways. It’s not exactly cheap at £2999, but it’s half the price of a Sophie Conran own brand sofa.

NEXT Accent Chair

I’ve posted a picture of this Euston accent chair from NEXT at their AW24 press show as the photo on their website does not do it justice. This chair is a good tan colour, a good shape and a good price at just £299.

Coat Paints x Emma Jane Palin

The wonderfully talented Emma Jane Palin has just opened up a carefully curated DIY store Our Curated Abode in Ramsgate, painted head-to-toe in the four earthy colours she’s created for COAT Paints. Emma is amazing at colour, so I wasn’t surprised to find that I loved the olive green, nude beige, terracotta and reddish brown shades she’s developed with the sustainable paint brand.

The New Tom Dixon Collection For Autumn/Winter 2017

Last week was the press preview for Tom Dixon's new collection for Autumn/Winter 2017. If you follow me on Instagram stories you'll know I attend a ton of press previews for new interior items - so what makes this one so special? The answer to that is that Tom Dixon is THE pioneer in design for the home. You know whatever he does everyone else will follow. What is seen at this collection will filter down to high street home ware a short while later. When he started doing his Oil Slick range, the following season there were oil slick bowls and vases and plates; and lets not even start on 'copper'. His round copper pendant lights indisputably started the trend for copper in interiors.
