'Emily In Paris' Set Design & Interiors - Discover How To Get The Look!

As I put my feet up over the Christmas period to binge-watch the third season of Emily In Paris, I found I was spending more time Googling the interiors of the Savoir office on my phone than I was following the storyline; what is that perfect shade of lilac-grey in Sylvie’s office? Can you buy those table lamps in Gabriel’s restaurant in the UK? While a huge focus is on the fashion in the series, production designer Anne Seibel has made it just as much about the decor via a combination of classic French architecture alongside modern furniture and accessories.

As I shared my love for the Savoir office and Sylvie’s perfect Parisian apartment on my Instagram stories, my DM’s filled up with messages from my followers asking me to share any information I had on the design of the show; paint colours, lamps and artwork details were all requested. While Anne Seibel keeps her set design mostly under wraps, here are a few key finds or similar pieces that I have discovered so that you can get the look!

The Paint Colours

The dusky, feminine colours the chunky panelling in the Savoir office is painted in is what first drew me into the Emily In Paris decor scheme. After a bit of investigating online, a PDF drawing of the set revealed the large Savoir meeting room colour to be painted in one of Sherwin-Williams’ most popular blue hues: Dyer’s Woad. The RAL code (the formula which makes up a paint colour) can be found online, but if you are after a similar shade without resorting to getting a colour match, try Benjamin Moore’s Labrador Blue, Farrow & Ball's Stone Blue, or Caspian by Fenwick & Tilbrook.

Sylvie’s office is painted in a perfectly balanced tone of soft pinky-lilac grey (believed to be another Sherwin-Williams colour: Mystical Shade). For close alternatives, try Farrow & Ball’s Peignoir or Marble V by Paint & Paper Library.

What I admire most about Anne Seibel’s pretty pastel paint choices is that they avoid being sickly, ice-cream colours. Instead, these sophisticated shades are grown-up and provide a warm backdrop to the modern lighting and accessories. The darker tone of the purple-based-grey behind Emily’s desk is a firm favourite of mine and while I couldn’t discover the exact shade online, Edward Bulmer’s Lavender, Benjamin Moore’s Kasbah and Dulux’s Heart Wood and Dusted Heather come close!

Office Accessories & Lighting

While the office architecture and colours are pure Parisian, the decorative lighting and accessories throughout Savoir are mostly of Scandinavian Design (featuring brands such as House Doctor, Bloomingville and HK Living.)
