Kids Easter Table Setting: Egg Cup Pom Pom Bunnies

This little Easter craft is perfect for Easter Sunday morning breakfasts. Before the kids have a dippy egg, give them a little Easter table-setting gift of a pom-pom bunny in their egg cup!

All you need for this craft is:

Make one pom pom with the 4cm pom pom maker, and one pom pom with the 3cm pom pom maker as per the guide below:

Open up your pom pom maker so it makes an 'S' shape. Start wrapping your wool around the top part of the S (the more wool you wrap, the fluffier the pom pom). Once the top part of the 'S' is covered in wrapped wool, close this section and start wrap…

Open up your pom pom maker so it makes an 'S' shape. Start wrapping your wool around the top part of the S (the more wool you wrap, the fluffier the pom pom). Once the top part of the 'S' is covered in wrapped wool, close this section and start wrapping the wool around the second 'S' section. Once finished, close the second part of the pom pom maker and cut the thread to your ball of wool. With a sharp pair of scissors, cut between the middle of the wrapped wool where the join of the pom pom maker is. Take an extra piece of wool and wrap it around the join of the pom pom maker and pull it tight into a knot, so your pom pom wool pieces are secure. Unclasp of the green 'S' shapes of the pom pom maker and pull the pom pom maker apart in the middle. Pull out your pom pom and reshape it and trim it if needed.

Once you have your two pom poms, cut out two bunny ears from the felt sheet:

Using the hot glue gun, stick the smaller pom pom on top of the larger pom pom to make the bunny body and head. Stick the base of the ears on the back of the head, then add two black beads for the eyes, and a tiny pink bead for the nose. Roll a small piece of cotton wool in a ball and stick it on the back of the body for a tail.

One pom-pom bunny, ready for his egg cup! Depending on how many kids you are catering for, this can be a quick easter craft you can rustle up the night before.

Happy Easter!
