With spring in full swing, I thought I would share a few of my favourite Easter and spring home decor displays and crafts that I’ve created over the past couple of years. From Easter trees, spring faux flower floral arches over my front door and spring table settings, I hope it brings you ideas and inspiration when decorating your home for the season.

Decorate An Easter Tree

Every year, one home display that I always put together is an Easter tree. These look great displayed in a window or positioned on a sideboard or a mantel.

To make an Easter tree, I’ll take a large vase and add some faux cherry blossom branches, some real twisted willow and some tree cuttings from the garden to bring in a bit of green leaf. If you find that your long stems do not stand up in your vase as you would like, try using a flower frog (a small floristry mechanism which allows you to push stems into small pins to keep them upright). Decorate your Easter tree with hanging eggs, clip-on birds and ribbons.

Spruce out your frontage for spring

There’s no better way to brighten up your home than by adding some spring decor to the front. A colourful spring wreath will add joy to your front door, or you can go the extra mile and create a whole spring and Easter door arch!

If you have steps or a stoop, fill it out with pots of vibrant mini daffodils or pansies to add lots of colour. You can even add some Easter exterior decorations - I got these large green bunnies in my local Homesense!

Spring Table Setting

For a stunning spring table, start with a tablecloth in easter and spring colours. I find that a tablecloth in green, yellow or pastel shades works well as a base. Lay your table with colourful tumblers, bud vases full of spring flowers and bunny-adorned place names. Try Heather Evelyn for stylish Easter-themed table accessories.

Get creative with simple egg crafts

A great centrepiece for an Easter or spring table is to varnish egg shells so that they can hold a little bit of water upon which you can place a few delicate flowers. Arrange them around a candle and secure with hot glue. You can also make your own pretty hanging egg decorations using pressed flowers and Modge Podge.
