There’s been a few things that have caught my eye in the world of new interior design collections the past month. While it doesn’t feel (to me, anyway) that 2024 has been abundant with big product releases, as we move towards autumn/winter, new collections are appearing more regularly. Here is a round-up of my recent top interior and home decor picks:

Ball-foot Bath by Drummonds

This round-footed bath from Drummonds piqued my interest as I’ve never seen one with on-trend, chunky ball feet. Scandi-style circular furniture legs have been popular for a couple of years, so it is great to see this design transferred onto a tub. Made from cast iron and dry frit enamelled, the Newton bath will be available at the end of July 2024 and retail from £5388.

Fluted Tiles By Dekton

Inspired by Japanese and contemporary design, these fluted tiles by Dekton are perfect for creating those Pinterest-worthy ribbed fireplaces that we are seeing in all the high-end interior mags. Dekton is mainly known for producing fire-proof and scratch-resistant worktops, but their ultracompact stone is used throughout architecture and design and this Ukiyo collection, designed with Claudia Afshar, is perfect for vertical cladding application.

Kate-Watson Smyth x Graphenstone Paint Collection

The esteemed interiors writer Kate Watson-Smyth has collaborated with the paint-purifying brand Graphenstone on a 12-colour paint collection, inspired by the colours of Turin, Italy (where Kate has spent the past year renovating her new house) and the English countryside. My favourite shade in the collection - Lavanda - was inspired by the 100-year-old wisteria that twists around the Turin property's gates.

Stylish Water Butts by Hartley Botanic

One of the things that I really wanted to see at the RHS Hampton Court Garden Festival was Hartley Botanic’s range of stunning new water butts. Rather than the plastic water-conserving monstrosities that you get in the DIY stores and garden centres, these stylish aluminium water butts come in two sizes and a wide range of colours.

Scallop storage from Layered Lounge

Layered Lounge has caught my eye with its delicate range of rattan storage baskets. The subtle scallop design is a particular favourite.

New Green Furniture from Heal’s

Green really isn’t going anywhere. It’s been a firm favourite within interiors since 2022 and due to demand, Heal’s is releasing a new range of green furniture this autumn and winter. From the Riga High Gloss ribbed sideboard to the Lars Olive Green range of bedroom furniture, these pieces will be online and in-store from September.
